Winter is Here!

It has been a while since we have taken the time to update our blog. At first Eve and I thought that this would be a general information only blog and only update it as needed. But it seems that we really need to do something to keep us busy and our minds focused on the blessings that we have in our life.

Well winter has finally hit and boy is it cold. The heavy winter clothing has come out and the extra throw blankets are located at strategic locations throughout the house. Eden wanted to build a snowman the other day so Eve was more than happy to help her out. They ended up using Dum Dums for the eyes and mouth, Eden decided that it doesn't matter if they are the snowman's eyes she still loves them.

Connor started High School this year and has been loving it (mostly the girls). Boy it sure is different having a teenage boy who is more concerned about girls than he is about video games :(..... He decided to be on the swim team again, but has since had a shoulder injury that is keeping him from being in the water. This has been a bummer for him. He is a really good kid and makes us proud of the decisions that he making in his life.

Eve and I seem to be always on the run. Between work, school, church, and kids it seems like one day just blends into the next. We did how ever take sometime out to celebrate our 7 year anniversary, by getting away for a night. That was a nice break and a good chance for me to spend a wonderful evening with my best friend. I am so thankful that she loves me for who I am, I still wonder daily what I did right to marry the perfect person for me (or maybe she wonders what she did wrong,  LOL).
