Well, for one of us it did anyway... since Connor is heading out to his dad's for Christmas we decided to have Christmas about 2 weeks early with him. Way funner than having it late! We did it last Saturday (I know, I know this post is kinda late) We were worried about confusing Eden with the whole Santa Claus coming early thing, so we had her help put the presents under the tree and didn't talk about santa at all. Of course we put a couple under there for Edie too! Then we woke him up by barging into his room saying "Time to wake up, its Christmas." He thinks we're the biggest nerds ever! He's such a good sport...

| Eden giving Connor his stocking. She didn't even care that she didn't have one too, she just helped him with his. Tell me that's not the cutest pic ever... |

I think this silly hat was his favorite gift. He hasn't stopped wearing it since he opened it. Too bad it's like 70 degrees at his dad's. No need for a furry hat! |

This was the 1st gift Edie opened, after that she only wanted to play with those. It took a lot of convincing to get her to open more. Go figure... the $1 Walmart magnets were her favorite. If I'd have known that earlier it would have saved us a lot of money!
Oh yeah, the girls are gonna love this. Well, maybe once he learns how to play. He looks good holding it though right?
Handsomest guys ever! Is handsomest a word? Oh well who cares, its my blog, I can make up words if I want :)
Ok, so my little boy is not so little anymore :(
After opening presents we lounged around in our pjs for most of the day. Just like you do on Christmas! Then I made a fabulous Christmas dinner. We invited our parents over to eat and to give their gifts to Connor. All the food was FANTASTIC if I do say so myself. All in all it was a perfect day. It actually felt like Christmas! Now we get to do it all over again in a week. |
