We must be the luckiest people on the planet! Not only do we have the two smartest, most beautiful, perfect children in the entire world and I'm married to my sexy best friend and I have to admit that Matthew is married to a pretty spectacular woman (wink, wink) But we got to have two Christmas mornings at our house this year! Ok, so it was a little strange having a Christmas for each child, but, well that's just the way it turned out this year. And we're the kind of people that have learned to just roll with it...

and putting them on all by herself.
Christmas morning was hilarious because Eden didn't even notice that big 'ol kitchen with the big red bow on it at first. She saw all the presents under the tree and said "Santa bring all dis for me?" Once she noticed the kitchen though it was difficult to talk her into opening anything else. Boy, Santa could have saved some money this year. I'll (I mean Santa) will have to remember that next year. But since Santa did bring more presents, we thought she should open them. She did finally agree to more presents but she "had to make waffles first."
Ok, the waffles are done...Wait now she's calling Santa to tell him "thanks for all da presents". Matthew is patiently trying to convince her to open another gift. (What parent ever has to do that?) He did get her to open a couple more... Now what? Yep you got it... she's calling Santa again, just to tell him thank you. Well, I can say that at least we have raised a very polite 2 1/2 year old.
She did actually get though all her presents. Keep in mind though that she cooked us a "meal" or spoke to Santa between every gift or two. It was the longest Christmas morning present opening session EVER! And we loved EVERY minute of it!!!!!
